14 years shipping trading platforms and streaming infrastructure for banks, logistics, and energy companies across Europe.

I also build products. I ran a consultancy for a few years, but preferred going deep on fewer projects. So I went solo - fewer clients, deeper engagements, and room to build my own products on the side.

Work

Currently: Gas trading systems at a major German energy company. Real-time positions, automated nominations, Kafka event processing.

Previously:

  • ING Bank - 6 years. Tech lead for a global Kafka-based customer engagement platform (NL, RO, ES, DE, PH, PL). Interim product owner for a streaming data analytics team.
  • Swiss Post - Transport management system replacing 40 legacy systems. Tech Lead.
  • Prague Airport - Baggage handling optimization. 15M passengers/year.
  • Siemens, German Telco (on behalf of RedHat), and others.
